“Boost patient recruitment in clinical trials” – Free Webinar

📅 5th December – 1:30pm to 2:15pm (CET)

📍 On line via Gotowebinar
💶 Free but mandatory registration

In Clinical Research, difficulties in recruiting subjects are one of the main causes of premature termination of clinical trials. Between 20 to 30% of clinical trials are affected by inclusion delays and more than 1 out of 10 investigating centers fail to recruit a single patient.

This inability to include participants on time results in negative scientific, logistical, financial, and ethical fallout.

Today, many clinical trials are running at the same time at site. Healthcare professionals (HCPs) are unaware of the ongoing studies, study criteria, and do not have time to pre-screen patients.

After a short contextual introduction, Telemedicine Technologies will be demonstrating CT-SCOUT, a multi-device web application based on a unique algorithmic model that addresses patients attrition:

  • It enables all physicians to detect potentially eligible patients.
  • It matches patients with ongoing trials at the site in real-time, face to face and in a few clicks.
  • It coordinates the research team from first contact with patients until their inclusion.
  • No previous knowledge of ongoing protocols required.
  • It demonstrated its efficiency in inflammatory bowel diseases by increasing the patient recruitment from 2 to 4 folds.
